Abstract

To make it possible to provide a communication service highly resistant to a failure in a transport network. A base station device in a mobile communication network includes: a context holding section (174) configured to store a mobility management (MM) context and a session management (SM) context for each of terminals connected to the base station device; and a context forwarding section (161) configured to forward, in a case where a handover of a terminal is detected, the MM context and the SM context of the terminal to a base station device serving as a Target of the handover.
