Abstract

Disclosed is a seat (1) comprising a seat element (2) for a person to sit on, and a supporting structure (3) carrying the seat element (2). The supporting structure (3) further comprises ground contact means (4) and height altering means (5), wherein the height altering means (5) allows a structure distance (SD) between the seat element (2) and the ground contact means (4) to be altered. The seat also comprises a footrest arm (6) pivotally fixed in relation to the seat element (2) at a first arm end (7), wherein the footrest arm (6) comprises a footrest (8) at a second arm end (9), wherein the first arm end (7) is opposite the second arm end (9). Furthermore, the seat comprises a fulcrum (10) arranged between the first arm end (7) and the second arm end (9), wherein the footrest arm (6) is arranged to tilt on the fulcrum (10) so that the footrest (8) is elevated in the direction of the seat element (2) when the structure distance (SD) between the seat element (2) and the ground contact means (4) is reduced. Furthermore, a method for displacing a foot (20) of a first person (21) in relation to a second person (22) and use of a seat (1) is disclosed.
