Abstract

Provided is a dishwasher configured such that a compressor, a condenser, an expansion valve, an evaporator, a refrigerant pipe, etc. constituting a heat pump system are disposed in a base such that the compressor, the condenser, the expansion valve, the evaporator, the refrigerant pipe, etc. are collectively extend from or retract into the base through an open front surface of the base, and thus, when maintenance and repair of the heat pump system is required, the heat pump system may entirely and at-once extend from the base even in a state in which only a door, a front panel functioning as a baseboard, a lower frame, etc. are disassembled from the dishwasher without the need to remove a tub from the base, thereby remarkably improving convenience of maintenance and repair.
