Abstract
The invention is related to the development of novel thiazolo[5,4-b]pyridine derivatives as anticancer compounds for use in the treatment of breast cancer. These compounds target estrogen-dependent cancer types through aromatase inhibition while providing selective cytotoxic effects against human breast adenocarcinoma (MCF-7) cells without causing damage to healthy (NIH/3T3) cells. Being easily and economically synthesized, these compounds aim to reduce side-effect and resistance issues encountered in current therapies.
