Abstract

The invention discloses a sensorized block (1) comprising a flexible casing (2) housing a rigid structure (3). This rigid structure (3) comprises a first frame (31) and a second frame (32) housed within the first frame (31). These frames (31, 32) are formed by respective sets of plates (31<X1>, 31<X2>, 31<Y1>, 31<Y21>; 32<Z1>, 32<Z2>, 32<Y1>, 32<Y2>), several of which comprise deformation sensors (4<X1>, 4<X2>, 4<Y1>, 4<Y2>, 4<Z1>, 4<Z2>) provided so as to determine characteristics of the applied force, such as the face onto which the force is exerted, whether the force is centred in said face, and even if the block (1) is abutting a wall. The invention also discloses a method for determining the above-mentioned characteristics of the force from the data obtained by the deformation sensors (4<X1>, 4<X2>, 4<Y1>, 4<Y2>, 4<Z1>, 4<Z2>).
