Abstract
An ink jet recording method using an ink jet recording apparatus includes a recording head (1), the recording head including: an ejection orifice (13) configured to eject an aqueous ink including resin particles; a pressure chamber (12) communicating the ejection orifice; an ejection element arranged in the pressure chamber; a liquid retention chamber configured to supply the aqueous ink to the pressure chamber; a bubble retention chamber (520) communicating to the liquid retention chamber; a decompression chamber (760) arranged adjacent to the bubble retention chamber; and a gas permeable membrane (710) arranged at a boundary between the bubble retention chamber and the decompression chamber, the method including: applying the aqueous ink to a recording medium (P); and then heating the recording medium. T<sub>g</sub> (°C) of the resin particle, T<sub>i</sub> (°C) of the aqueous ink in the bubble retention chamber and T<sub>fix</sub> (°C) of the recording medium satisfy T<sub>i</sub><T<sub>g</sub>≤T<sub>fix</sub>.
