Abstract

A conveyance system includes an automated guided vehicle, a storage section configured to store conveyance destination information in which a category of a product and a conveyance destination are associated with each other, a recognition section provided in the automated guided vehicle and configured to recognize a product loaded on a cart, a setting section configured to acquire a corresponding conveyance destination from the conveyance destination information stored in the storage section based on a category to which the product recognized by the recognition section belongs, and set the acquired conveyance destination as a target location of the cart, and a control section configured to control the automated guided vehicle such that the cart is conveyed to the target location set by the setting section.
