Abstract

Rotary heat-exchanger including a rotatable chamber; at least one heat exchange tube in the rotatable chamber and having a tube length defined between a first tube end and a second tube end spaced from the first end, and having an inside tube diameter and an outside tube diameter; a first tube plate attached to the first end of the at least one tube and a second tube plate attached to the second end of the at least one tube, and an outlet attached to the second tube plate and in communication with the rotatable chamber; a feeder in communication with the rotatable chamber; and at least one bar in the at least one heat exchange tube, the at least one bar having a bar length greater than the tube length and being free to move in the at least one heat exchange tube upon rotation of the rotatable chamber.
