Abstract

A work device includes a housing including an opening/closing door, a work unit, a motor device, a first magnetic coupling member, a second magnetic coupling member, and a mechanical mechanism. The work unit is housed in the housing and performs predetermined work on an object disposed inside the housing. The motor device includes a motor shaft that outputs a driving force for operating the opening/closing door. The first magnetic coupling member is attached to the motor shaft. The second magnetic coupling member is magnetically coupled to the first magnetic coupling member. The mechanical mechanism mechanically connects the second magnetic coupling member and the opening/closing door, and transmits, to the opening/closing door, a driving force of the motor shaft applied from the first magnetic coupling member to the second magnetic coupling member by the coupling.
