Abstract

The present invention discloses compositions, such as pharmaceutical compositions, as well as methods, for use in the treatment and/or prevention of a disease or condition linked to oxidative stress, lipid peroxidation and ferroptosis. The pharmaceutical composition of the invention comprises an agent modulating the expression and/or activity of i) a KRAB-containing zinc finger protein ZNF354A (ZNF354A), ii) an mRNA encoding the ZNF354A, and/or iii) the ZNF354A gene.
