Abstract

The present invention relates to electric furnace equipment and an electric furnace operation method applied thereto, the electric furnace equipment comprising: an electric furnace capable of melting a raw material; a supply unit connected to the electric furnace so as to supply the raw material; a preheating unit disposed on the supply unit so as to preheat the raw material; a pressing unit having a supported end and a free end and disposed on the upstream side of the preheating unit in the direction of raw material supply so as to enable the free end to come into contact with the raw material; and an operation unit connected to the supported end so as to adjust the position of the pressing unit. The electric furnace equipment and the electric furnace operation method have a simple structure and can prevent damage to the equipment.
