Abstract

The invention concerns a gasket (10a; 10b) for an electrolyzer (34) cell stack (12) comprising a base plate (14) having a recess (16) configured to accommodate a part of a layer (32) of said electrolyzer (34) cell stack (12), a sealing (20) which is positioned along a wall (22) of the base plate (14) bounding said recess (16), and a mount (24) to support said part of the layer (32) of the electrolyzer (34) cell stack (12) at a predetermined position along a direction (26) transverse, preferably substantially perpendicular, to a plane of the base plate (14).
