Abstract

Provided herein is a control method of a laundry treatment apparatus including a drum, a flow passage, a blower, a heat exchanger including a compressor, a pressure regulator, a first heat exchanger, and a second heat exchanger, a water collector, and a steam generator. The control method may include a heating operation of increasing a temperature of the drum and a temperature of the flow passage by operating the blower and the heat exchanger, a waiting operation of maintaining the heat exchanger in an operation-terminated state after termination of the heating operation, a water collector cleaning operation of supplying hot water to the water collector by spraying the steam inside the steam generator into the first heat exchanger after the waiting operation.
