Abstract

The invention relates to an electromagnetic drive piston pump intended for circulating a fluid. The pump comprises a housing provided with two inlet ports arranged opposite each other and an outlet port located between the inlet ports. A movable core that can move axially with respect to a fixed core is arranged inside a pumping chamber, the movable core being provided internally with primary valve means associated with each inlet port and configured for relative axial movement. The pump further comprises two electromagnetic drive assemblies axially housed inside the housing and spaced apart from each other, each assembly being linked to an inlet port and the outlet port. Each assembly includes a solenoid coaxial with a movable core and a secondary valve mounted on the fixed core. The solenoids act alternately to generate electromagnetic forces that cause the movable core to move in both directions, thus allowing controlled pumping of the fluid.
