Abstract

This application provides a heat exchanger (100) for absorbing heat and evaporating a refrigerant in a refrigeration system (200), the heat exchanger (100) including: a heat exchanger shell (101) enclosed to form a heat exchanger cavity (1011); a heat exchange medium inlet (102) opened at one side of the heat exchanger shell (101); a heat exchange medium outlet (103) communicating with the heat exchange medium inlet (102) through a heat exchange tube bundle (104); a first refrigerant inlet (105) opened at a bottom of the heat exchanger shell (101) and communicating with the heat exchanger cavity (1011); a refrigerant outlet (106) opened at a top of the heat exchanger shell (101) and communicating with the heat exchanger cavity (1011); a second refrigerant inlet (107) disposed at a position farther from the heat exchange medium inlet (102) than the first refrigerant inlet (105); and a gas-liquid separator (108) connected to the first refrigerant inlet (105) and the second refrigerant inlet (107). By separating a liquid refrigerant and a gas refrigerant in a two-phase refrigerant using the gas-liquid separator (108), the liquid refrigerant and the gas refrigerant are redistributed, a heat exchange efficiency of the heat exchanger and the refrigeration system is improved, and a refrigerant charge amount is reduced.
