Abstract

A measuring tape including a housing, a blade wound extended to the outside or elastically retracted though an entrance of the housing, and a hook mounted at an end of the blade includes a rubber coating layer configured to cover a portion of an outer surface of the housing, wherein a rubber buffer block is formed around the entrance of the housing integrally with the rubber coating layer, and the rubber buffer block includes a protruding convex portion configured to support an inner surface of the hook and a hollow air pocket formed inside the convex portion.
