Abstract

A control panel cover includes an attachment member that allows the control panel cover to be attached to a control panel that at least includes an operable portion to be operated by a user and a light emitter that conveys information to the user with light emitted by the light emitter, a restrictor that restricts an operation to be performed on the operable portion when the control panel cover is attached to the control panel using the attachment member, and an expander that is located in an area irradiated by the light emitter with the light emitted from the light emitter when the control panel cover is attached to the control panel using the attachment member, to expand an area irradiated with the light.
