Abstract
A method and system for aircraft turnaround readiness optimization, involving: receiving (301) target information data related to passengers' onboarding, selected turnaround tasks on an aircraft, and the aircraft schedule; receiving (302) progress information data related to progress of execution of passengers' onboarding and of the selected turnaround tasks; calculating (303) an estimate for the time of completion of the selected turnaround tasks, by comparing the corresponding target information data and progress information data; providing (304) the calculated estimate to at least an aircraft operator; and receiving (305) from the aircraft operator a subset of the selected turnaround tasks.
