Abstract

The present invention relates to a storage-space allocation method and apparatus, an electronic device, a computer-readable storage medium and a computer program product, pertaining to the field of electronic technology. The storage-space allocation method includes: acquiring an allocation request from a target object, wherein the allocation request is configured to apply for an OCAB storage space; verifying whether a remaining OCAB storage space is larger than or equal to the OCAB storage space applied for by the allocation request; and allocating, if the remaining OCAB storage space is smaller than the OCAB storage space applied for by the allocation request, the target object a GMAB storage space based on the allocation request, wherein the access speed of the OCAB storage space is higher than or equal to the access speed of the GMAB storage space.
