Abstract

A battery device (20) has: a battery module (60) having plural battery cells (48) that are lined-up in a predetermined direction, and a module case (42) that houses the plural battery cells; a heat-resistant insulating member (65) attached to the battery module so as to cover first smoke vent holes (46) formed in the module case, and including a connecting portion (74) having an insertion groove (79); and a fixing member (85) detachably fit in the insertion groove and supported by a fixed body (24).
