Abstract
A secondary battery includes an electrode assembly, a case accommodating the electrode assembly, the case including an opening, a cap plate sealing the opening of the case, a pair of electrode terminals coupled to the cap plate and electrically connected to the electrode assembly, and a protective member between the electrode assembly and the cap plate.
