Abstract

A battery includes an electrode assembly, a case accommodating the electrode assembly, the case including a vent hole, and a vent formed of a polymer material, the vent includinga body portion covering the vent hole, and a flange portion extending from the body portion toward a surface of the case, the flange portion being coupled to the case and including at least one protrusion protruding in a thickness direction of a portion of the case coupled to the flange portion.
