Abstract

A battery (2), including a case (100), an electrode assembly (200) inside the case (100), the electrode assembly (200) including an electrode (210, 220), a tab member (301, 302) connected to the electrode (210, 220), the tab member (301, 302) extending from the electrode assembly (200), a cap assembly (400) facing the electrode assembly (200), the cap assembly (400) having a terminal (420, 430), and a current collector assembly (500, 600) between the electrode assembly (200) and the cap assembly (400), wherein the current collector assembly (500, 600) includes a current collecting plate (520, 620) coupled to the tab member (301, 302) and a flexible current collector (510, 610, 710) electrically connecting the current collecting plate (520, 620) and the terminal (420, 430).
