Abstract

A gas-duct compartment (1004) for a switchgear cabinet (1000) is described. The gas-duct compartment (1004) includes an enclosure (10041) comprising a sidewall structure (10042) having a length (L) extending along a vertical axis (V-V") of the switchgear cabinet (1000). The sidewall structure (10042) is defined with a first end (FE) and an open second end (SE). A roof panel (10043) being structured to encompass the first end (FE) of the sidewall structure (10042). The enclosure (10041) being defined with one or more vents (10044) in at least one of the sidewall structure (10042), or a space defined in the roof panel (10043). The gas-duct compartment (1004) further includes a filter element (10046) being structured to be disposed at the one or more vents (10044).
