Abstract
An electric motor (100; 200) disclosed includes a cylindrical stator (3) and a ring-shaped refrigerant pipe (10). The ring-shaped refrigerant pipe (10) is disposed to be coaxial with the stator (3). The refrigerant pipe (10) has discharge ports (11) which face the stator (3) and from which refrigerant is discharged, and a refrigerant inlet (12; 212). The refrigerant inlet (12; 212) is positioned below the discharge ports (11).
