Abstract

System (2), and related method, for installing a photovoltaic system (1) on a surface (100), wherein the system (2) comprises a plurality of ballast devices (4) distributed on the surface to form at least a first (5) and a second row (6) of ballast devices (4) parallel to each other, each ballast device (4) comprising one or more ballast elements (7) structurally identical to each other, each ballast element (7) comprising a through hole (8) vertically passing engaged by a fastening element (14) of the ballast device (4), wherein each of the first (5) and second row (6) comprises a respective support bar (24) for the photovoltaic panels fixed to the respective ballast devices (4) by means of a fixing bracket (22).
