Abstract

An information processing apparatus comprises an acquiring means for acquiring a plurality of pieces of input data having a first bit depth; a first converting means for converting the bit depth of a piece of input data to a second bit depth that is lower than the first bit depth; a second converting means for converting the bit depth of another piece of input data to the second bit depth, and extract features from data obtained by integrating the piece of data whose bit depth is converted to the second bit depth and the other piece of input data whose bit depth is converted to the second bit depth; and an extending means for extending the bit depth of the features to a third bit depth that is higher than the second bit depth.
