Abstract

A covering device (1), a protection arrangement (9) for shielding a laser radiation, a method (100) for reducing and/or eliminating the amount of laser radiation emission and a corresponding use. The protection arrangement (9) according to the invention comprises a sensor (11), a case (3) and a form flexible curtain (5) configured to tightly abut a surface positioned below the arrangement, wherein both the case (3) and the flexible curtain (5) are non-transmissive to laser radiation. The current invention further pertains to a laser weeding robot comprising the inventive protection arrangement (9) as well as its use for increasing the safety standards while operating the robot.
