Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a liquid lightguide assembly which is a kit of parts comprising a light disinfection device and a protective cap. The present disclosure further relates to a method for preventing the formation of air pockets in light disinfection devices. The disclosure further relates to a protective cap for safe storage of a liquid-filled elongated tubular body, and to a method for prevent the formation of air pockets in a light disinfection device.
