Abstract
The present invention describes a ventilation assembly for a drug delivery device reservoir unit, the ventilation assembly including: A reservoir unit housing defining an interior volume separated from an exterior with a bottom wall, an adhesive patch assembly, where the bottom wall forms a recessed surface creating a cavity and through holes fluidly connecting the cavity with the interior volume of the reservoir unit housing. A waterproof and breathable pressure compensation membrane sealingly attached to the bottom wall where the through holes are overlaid by the pressure compensation membrane, and where the cavity leads to an opening to the exterior, and where the cavity accommodates a permeable spacer structure.
