Abstract
The present invention relates to a film coated tablet formulation comprising a core tablet having metformin hydrochloride and at least one matrix agent and intermediate layer surrounding the core tablet and a coating solution having sitagliptin surrounding the core tablet wherein the intermediate layer is between 1.3% and 3.1% by weight in the total tablet. Further, the present invention provides a method for the preparation of said composition.
