Abstract

The vehicle mode control device for controlling a mode of a vehicle (1), includes a mode setting part (34) configured to set the mode of the vehicle (1) to a state maintenance mode for maintaining a vehicle state in which power is supplied to an air conditioner (7) of the vehicle (1) and a display in the vehicle (1) but not to a drivetrain of the vehicle (1) based on an instruction from a user of the vehicle (1), and a charge state detection part (35) configured to detect a charge state of a main battery (14) of the vehicle (1). The mode setting part (34) is configured to allow execution of the state maintenance mode regardless of a value of an SOC of the main battery (14), when the main battery (14) of the vehicle (1) is being charged.
