Abstract

This brake circuit (100) for a road vehicle (10) comprises rear wheels (18), which are associated to parking brake actuators (102) controlled by a parking relay valve (104), and front wheels (16), which are each associated front brake actuators (112) controlled by a regulation device (114). The brake circuit includes a standstill control unit (120), which comprises a first input port (122A), configured to receive a first control signal (S122) representative of a state, active or inactive, of the parking relay valve (104), at least one additional input port (123) configured to receive an additional control signal (S123) representative of a state of the vehicle, including whether the engine (19) is running, and a first output port (122B), which is connected to the regulation device. The standstill control unit is configured to generate a control signal (S115) for controlling the regulation device, so that, in turn, the regulation device delivers a positive pressure to the front brake actuators, depending on whether the parking relay valve is in the inactive state, and whether the engine is running.
