Abstract
The present disclosure provides a method for preparing lactide, and a direct lactide and a depolymerized lactide. The method comprises subjecting lactic acid to a prepolymerization reaction obtain a prepolymerized product; subjecting the prepolymerized product to a monomer removal treatment, wherein the component separated from the prepolymerized product after the monomer removal treatment comprises the direct lactide; and subjecting the remaining prepolymerized product after the monomer removal treatment to a depolymerization reaction to obtain the depolymerized lactide. The method of the present disclosure is simple in process and can obtain lactide with high optical purity without melt crystallization.
