Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a martensitic stainless steel and a method for manufacturing the same. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the martensitic stainless steel comprises, in weight %, C: 0.40% to 0.55%, N: 0.01% to 0.05%, Si: 0.10% to 0.80%, Mn: 0.20% to 0.80%, Cr: 13.0% to 15.5%, Ni: 0.01% to 0.50%, and Ti: 0.001% to 0.020%, with the balance being Fe and unavoidable impurities, wherein the following Formula (1) is satisfied, and the number of pores inside a cold-rolled annealed material is in a range of 1 * 10<4> to 50 * 10<4> ea/mm<2>: 80 ≤ 3 Cr + 17 Si + 100 C − 400 Ti ≤ 105 <img class="EMIRef" id="1073db24-9d89-4213-9543-04bc4e9aa59d-ia01" /> (wherein [Cr], [Si], [C], and [Ti] represent the content of each element)
