Abstract

Transmissions, park systems, and methods of assembling park systems are disclosed. A transmission includes an input shaft to receive torque from a drive unit, an output shaft to transmit torque to a load, and a park system to selectively brake the output shaft. The park system includes an electro-hydraulic valve assembly including a solenoid (410) to selectively deliver one or more fluid pressures to a movable element to drive operation of the park system in a plurality of operating modes and a solenoid retainer clip (450) pivotally coupled to the solenoid for rotation therewith about a first rotational axis.
