Abstract

A display device includes: a translucent light-guiding substrate including a first main surface, an end surface intersecting the first main surface, and a second main surface located on an opposite side of the first main surface; a light source including a light emitting surface and arranged to face at least one of the second main surface or the end surface; and a reflective layer arranged on the first main surface in a region overlapping with the light source in a top view. The translucent light-guiding substrate includes a light diffusion and scattering portion. A pattern corresponding to the light diffusion and scattering portion is displayed in the top view.
