Abstract

An air conditioner capable of suppressing inflow of a refrigerant into a heat exchanger as necessary is provided. An air conditioner 1 includes a refrigerant circuit including a utilization heat exchanger (22) having a connection portion (22a) into which a refrigerant flows and a connection portion (22b) from which the refrigerant flows out, and a flow path switching valve (100). A flow path switching valve includes a body (120) in which a first space (V1) is formed and ports (122a to 122d) are provided on an inner wall (122), and a valve body (140) disposed in the first space and forming a first flow path (R1) through which the refrigerant flows. The port (122b) communicates with the connection portion (22a), and the port (122c) communicates with the connection portion (22b). In the valve body (140), the first flow path is switched to a state of connecting the port (122a) and the port (122b), a state of connecting the port (122a) and the port (122c), and a state (S3) of connecting the port (122b) and the port (122c), and the ports to which the first flow path is not connected in each state are connected by a second flow path (R2) formed in the first space.
