Abstract
A battery diagnostic device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may include a memory storing at least one instruction; and at least one processor executing the at least one instruction, and the at least one processor may acquire a set of reference data of a reference battery cell corresponding to each of a plurality of designated temperatures, acquire cell data of a battery cell at a specific temperature, fit each piece of reference data to the cell data such that deviations between each of the pieces of reference data included in the set of reference data and the cell data are minimized, identify first specific reference data included in the set of reference data and corresponding to a smallest deviation among deviations between each of the fitted pieces of reference data and the cell data, and diagnose a state of the battery cell based on a temperature corresponding to the first specific reference data corresponding to the smallest deviation among the plurality of designated temperatures.
