Abstract

This application provides an information transmission method and a related apparatus, applied to a first electronic device, and the method includes: displaying a first interface in response to a first operation, where the first interface includes to-be-transmitted information and a first region, a distance between the first region and a control point does not exceed a first range, and the control point is a position point at which the first operation is performed; displaying a second interface in response to a second operation on the to-be-transmitted information within the first region, where the second interface includes information about applications and the to-be-transmitted information; and transmitting the to-be-transmitted information to a target application in response to a third operation on the to-be-transmitted information, where the target application is at least one of the applications. Because the distance between the first region and the control point does not exceed the first range, the first region can be restricted to be near the control point of the user by configuring the first range, so that the to-be-transmitted information can be transmitted to the application without the need for long-distance operations, thereby improving convenience of information transmission.
