Abstract

To provide a photoelectric conversion element having improved durability and photoelectric conversion efficiency, the present invention provides a photoelectric conversion element including: a first electrode; a second electrode; and a photoelectric conversion layer arranged between the first electrode and the second electrode, the photoelectric conversion layer containing a crystal having a perovskite structure, wherein the photoelectric conversion element includes a charge-transporting layer between the photoelectric conversion layer and the first electrode, wherein the charge-transporting layer contains a P-type semiconductor crystal and a resin, and wherein the P-type semiconductor crystal has at least one functional group selected from the group consisting of: a hydroxy group; a carboxy group; an amino group; an imino group; and a sulfo group.
