Abstract

Chair comprising a support structure, a seat with an upper face and a lower face, a flexible covering element, a flexible tensioning element and a traction element, which is rotatable in a tensioning sense and is provided with a perimeter toothing. The seat comprises a flexible blocking lever, which extends in a single piece from a first end, connected to the lower face, to a second free end, at which point the blocking lever is provided with a coupling portion. The first end of the blocking lever defines a rotation pivot, and the blocking lever is elastically movable around the rotation pivot between an engagement position, in which the coupling portion engages the perimeter toothing to prevent the rotation of the traction element in a direction opposite to the tensioning sense, and a release position, in which is allowed the free rotation of the traction element in the tensioning sense.
