Abstract

An impression tray (100) can have a concave tray body (1) and a tab (2). The tray body (1) comprises a buccal wing (3) on a buccal side of the tray body (1) and a lingual wing (4) on a lingual side of the tray body (1). Support members (5, 6) extend from an edge (15) of the buccal wing (3) to a corresponding edge (16) of the lingual wing (4). A penetrable sheet (9) is stretched flat in a space between the buccal wing (3) and the lingual wing (4) and extending along the edge (15) of the buccal wing (3), the edge (16) of the lingual wing (4), and the plurality of support members (5, 6), The height (19) of the lingual wing (4) is at most half the distance (12) between the buccal wing (3) and the lingual wing (4).
