Abstract
The present invention relates to transmucosal therapeutic systems for the transmucosal administration of a GLP-1 receptor agonist comprising a mucoadhesive layer structure comprising a therapeutically effective amount of a GLP-1 receptor agonist, such GLP-1 receptor agonist-containing transmucosal therapeutic systems for use in a method of treatment, a method of treatment comprising applying such GLP-1 receptor agonist-containing transmucosal therapeutic systems, and processes of manufacture of such transmucosal therapeutic systems.
