Abstract

Apparatus for bending bars comprising an input for receiving a plurality of bars for bending, a bending device for bending at least one bar and a transfer unit for transferring at least one bar from said input to said bending device, wherein the apparatus further comprises a rotating mechanism arranged for rotating a bar along its longitudinal axis towards a predefined orientation on the bending device, wherein the rotating mechanism is movable along a longitudinal axis of the bar between an engaged position for engaging and rotating the bar and a disengaged position.
