Abstract
The invention relates to a bacterial culture mixture that eliminates nitrogen from wastewater in order to biodegrade amine compounds found in refinery wastewater and the method of obtaining this mixture. In the bacterial culture mixture that is the subject of the invention, pure bacterial isolates of the genera Arthrobacter, Pseudomonas, Pigmentiphaga, Acidovorax, Chitinophaga obtained as pure isolates from refinery wastewater activated sludge are multiplied in bioreactor systems, in suitable mineral medium, trace element solution and bacterial growth media. With said bacterial culture mixture, the treatment of water is ensured by degrading 2-aminoethanol, 2-diethylaminoethanol and piperazine in wastewater.
