Abstract

A smart storage container includes a container body, a door, a lock, a biometric scanning device, an illumination system, and a controller. The biometric scanning device captures user biometric information to determine identity. Upon authentication, the controller unlocks the door and performs at least one identity-based operation, such as adjusting a motorized shelf or controlling the illumination system to provide personalized storage access. The motorized shelf may reposition horizontally, vertically, or tilt to optimize item retrieval. The illumination system may activate specific indicator lights or adjust brightness and direction based on the user's identity. The storage container may also include multiple compartments, each with dedicated access permissions. The controller may restrict access based on user attributes, such as age, and may integrate with temperature or humidity control systems for secure storage.
