Abstract

A contact assembly (100) includes: an arc extinguishing assembly (10) including an arc extinguishing grid group (13) located in an arc extinguishing chamber (801), and first and second arc guide plates (11, 12) located at two ends of the chamber (801); a fixed contact (20) connected to an inlet terminal (91), where the fixed contact (20) includes a U-shape structure including first and second segments (21, 22) opposite to each other, the first segment (21) is pivotally connected to a first pivot shaft (201), so that the fixed contact (20) is rotatable between a first closed position and a first open position, the second segment (22) is provided with a fixed contact point (221), and when the fixed contact (20) is in the first open position, a free end of the second segment (22) is close to the first arc guide plate (11); and a contact pressure member (40) elastically abutting against the fixed contact (20) to apply a force to the fixed contact (20) to move it towards the first open position.
