Abstract

A cooling unit (1102) for an enclosure that is an electronics rack can include a housing (1122) defining an internal volume (1134), a barrier (1136) separating the internal volume into a first portion (1138) of the internal volume and a second portion (1140) of the internal volume, a first inlet (1104) directing first air into the first portion of the internal volume, a second inlet (1106) directing second air into the second portion of the internal volume, a first outlet fluidly coupled to the first portion of the internal volume, a second outlet fluidly coupled to the second portion of the internal volume, a first heat exchanger (1114) positioned within the internal volume and fluidly coupled to the first inlet, and a second heat exchanger (1116) positioned within the internal volume and fluidly coupled to the second inlet.
