Abstract

A shoe (1A) includes a flexible shell (10) and a sole main body (30). The shell (10) includes a bottom wall portion (11) having a ground contact surface and a peripheral wall portion (12) erected from a peripheral edge of the bottom wall portion (11), and the sole main body (30) is positioned above the bottom wall portion (11) by being housed in the shell (10). The sole main body (30) includes at least a plate (32) harder than the shell (10), and the plate (32) is disposed such that a principal surface (32b) located in a thickness direction of the plate (32) faces an inner surface (11a) of the bottom wall portion (11). A protective portion (22c) softer than the plate (32) is provided at a position between a peripheral end surface (32c) of the plate (32) and an inner peripheral surface (12a) of the peripheral wall portion (12).
